The Trouble With Igor, from script to art

THE TROUBLE WITH IGOR
by
Banco Del Ladron (AKA Chris Reilly)

Page 1, panel 1
Igor is stirring a boiling pot over a campfire. Igor seems a bit down. He looks around at the barren land he’s drifted to, which is as inviting as Death Valley. He’s living the Igor life. Off in the distance we can see the smoldering remains of Castle Frankenstein.

Page 1, panel 2
Igor dips a ladle in and pulls out a steaming shoe, which
will be revealed as a penny loafer.

PAGE ONE Igor looks a bit unhappy, not really wanting to eat a shoe, but
given his local, a shoe is probably the best you could expect.

Page 1, panel 3
Igor sits down on a log, with the steaming shoe on a plate in his lap, as he starts to go at it with a knife and fork.

Page 1, panel 4
Close up of shoe, as Igor starts to slice into it, his knife stopping short of nicking a penny which he sees is still lodged in it.

Page 1, panel 5
Igor suddenly looks really happy.

Page 1, panel 6
Igor is walking away, staring joyfully at his new penny. This may be the best thing that’s ever happened to him.
